Requests / Inventory Orders from Warehouse
There are times that the quantity in inventory is too low for an engineer who is planning to design a manufacturing assembly that is going to use
a large quantity of an item.
In this case the re-order quantity might be set too low for there to be enough in the inventory.
The engineer or
warehouse personal can scan the 'Orders From Stockroom' function barcode and then
scan the inventory barcode. This will log the item into the database. The
purchasing personal can then review the requests and either create a purchase
order or notify the person requesting the item that there is a replacement for
that item and to remove the bin from the warehouse shelf.
